Position Objectives :

The company is currently offering a $7500 sign-on bonus.

Revise, restore, and uphold casting and trim dies according to original specifications, utilizing various machines and equipment integral to the process.

This is a direct hire opportunity.

• Receive guidance and instructions from the Team Leader or Supervisor.
• Transport, cleanse, disassemble, repair, and reassemble casting and trim dies, employing lift trucks, die cleaning equipment, and cranes when necessary.
• Construct and substitute segments, cores, details, and components based on blueprints, utilizing the necessary tools or equipment.
• Polish or grind die cavity surfaces as needed, employing the required tools or equipment.
• Execute repairs, address dimensional issues, and alter cores and trim punches while the casting and trim dies are mounted on machines.
• Conduct welding tasks in both the foundry and Die Repair Department.
• Identify and troubleshoot all tooling problems in production, undertaking necessary repairs and maintenance.
• Complete forms, die work orders, pictorials, sign-offs, and records as instructed.
• Provide training for new employees.
• Fulfill any other duties related to the secure and effective functioning of the tool and die repair department, as assigned by supervision.
• Must possess the ability to perform intricate tasks and resolve complex problems
• The job entails adherence to general procedures and guidelines, with established precedents. General guidance is provided, and work is periodically reviewed for compliance.

Education / Experience Requirements :

• Associate’s Degree, trade or technical school, journeyman certificate
• A Tool & Die Repair Journeyman Papers certification is highly preferred.
• If the employee lacks the minimum experience, they must undergo 2 years of on-the-job training to meet this requirement.

Up to 2 years of training is required.
